"My four sisters and I stayed here for a long sister weekend...no spouses, no kids. Just us girls and a couple bottles of wine. It was perfect for us. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The furnishings are period appropriate for this lovely Victorian and are tasteful. They had everything we needed and they were very responsive to our questions and emails prior to our stay. There's a gorgeous walking/cycling trail with a trailhead within walking distance. The house and property are very clean. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area. The owners/managers clearly take pride in the home and in being outstanding hosts. Thank you for having us!"

"We met up with family from several directions for a Christmas stay. The weather was rainy off and on, so our time was mostly spent indoors. There was plenty of room and lots of seating for all our needs. The bedrooms were plenty spacious as well. Everything we needed was there. It was great to have the towels and linens, soaps and shampoos, etc. provided.The kitchen had all the equipment we needed. When we did venture out, we found what we needed close by, as in groceries and restaurants. The town is quite hilly, but pleasant for walking. We had a couple of toddlers, so had to make sure breakables were out of reach and had to watch them around the hot radiators and pipes, but they had lots of floor space for play. The floors upstairs required attention in walking in spots, but were still quite beautiful. The directions provided for the household were quite complete and helpful. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay thoroughly."

"We had a New Year's Eve here, and it's really a nice house for ten people. Especially the kitchen is super clean and big, we love it. The living room is big enough for ten people hang out there. It is definitely a wonderful house for a vacation. Recommend!!!"

"In looking for a new venue to celebrate the holidays for my office, I discovered a wonderful Victorian home in the quaint town of White Haven. The home was decorated throughout with authentic antiques and had the feel of an old-type Christmas atmosphere. The large kitchen was spacious to hold the food catered for our 60 guests. The formal front sitting room with baby grand piano was wonderful for signing Christmas carols. And the parlor was spacious enough for our guests and 3 piece musical performers. The corner location allowed for adequate parking for all our guests. The owner was more than accommodating and greeted us at the setup to make sure we had everything we needed. I was thrilled with the response from my quests who have attended a wide variety of holiday parties with our company over the years. The food was catered from a local establishment and was plentiful and very good, the music was excellent – but the Victorian home made it all work by adding the atmosphere. This was the best Christmas party ever! "

"I have had so many fond and wonderful memories at your Victorian house. I have participated in 2 quilt shows and it is wonderful to see the quilts displayed in such a natural and beautiful setting. It adds to the charm and beauty of the quilts and makes them feel even more timeless. I also attended a Christmas party at the house and it was the most fun I have had in a long time. Wonderful company, even though most of them were strangers they were friends by the time they left. We had so much fun singing Christmas carols while accompanied on the baby grand by an excellent pianist. It made you feel like you had gone back in time. It truly is an amazing house with such an attention to detail, it feels like home!"
